Qigong Practices & 5 Element Gua Sha Facials

Where people come to have space to:
When the elements of the body are balanced the mind is naturally balanced
What is Qigong?

Qi Gong (Chee-gong) is an ancient moving meditation, which originated in China. You can practice to boost energy, relieve stress, and balance your emotions. It focuses on holistic (whole being) health by addressing all of who you are: mind, body, and spirit.
"Qi" means energy and "Gong" means skill or cultivation. So, Qi Gong is "the skill of cultivating your life-force energy". Through gentle movements, deep breathing, and meditation, Qi Gong helps you cultivate positive, life-force energy and promote healing from within. Because the movements are gentle, Qigong is suitable and accessible for everyone, regardless of ability.
While Qi Gong has ancient origins, its stress-reducing qualities make it perfect for modern day life. Qi Gong can help you stay grounded, centered, and as peaceful as a mountain lake.

Twelve Rivers Qigong:
The 12 rivers sequence is a set of mindful movements, combined with breathwork to enhance your health, heal your emotions, and boost your energy.
These 12 moves enable you to move every part of your body through a full range of motion without putting excessive strain on your body. Each movement gently massages an internal organ and stimulates and stretches the associated energy channel (river). As they become healthier this will naturally affect the health of your whole body from the inside out. These channels (meridians) flow like rivers of energy through your body, and this is why it is called ‘Twelve Rivers' Qigong.
The Five Elements of Nature Qigong
Move with power, breathe with freedom and build energy within your body using the five element practice. These movements are designed to bring the body back to balance, by using a set of movements which work with each element: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. Each element affects another and is affected by another to create balance and prevent dysfunction when one element becomes too dominant.
Gua Sha Facials
These treatments are designed to not only rejuvenate the skin but also balance the body's energy, helping you to feel refreshed and revitalised. Based on the Chinese philosophy of health it is said that our body structure, emotional tendencies, temperaments, behaviours, illnesses and moods are a synergy between five metaphorical elements: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. This is also why I use different crystal tools because of their individual energy properties
It's not just about the surface of the skin. In order to retain balance and sustain a healthy life there needs to be an equilibrium between these elements within our bodies. Understanding and addressing your unique structure and natural rhythms will help you feel refreshed, nurtured and ready to thrive in your everyday life. I provide a set of five element facials on the basis of these elements, to help you with just that. If you have imbalance in a specific element this in turn negatively affects the skin. The facial oils I use are formulated to enhance the elements.
